In this work, I delve into the intricate connection between the female body and society. At the heart of this project lies a compelling question: Why does society react so strongly to women experiencing menstruation? The challenge lies in the fact that when a woman undergoes her menstrual cycle, discussing it openly becomes a taboo, often met with repulsion or an immediate shift in conversation. The consequences are severe; for instance, if a woman doesn't menstruate on her wedding night, it could lead to dishonor or even death. Furthermore, once a woman reaches menopause, she is often devalued as a non-sexual being, occasionally replaced by a younger counterpart.
